Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, fertilizer and control product applications as well as other cultural practices as required. In addition, some pruning, fertilization, mulching and bed maintenance is required. Experienced Landscape Design and Sales Professional. As a member of our Landscape Design Team, you will work directly with clients and present design solutions that meet the clients expectations, including estimating, presentation and overseeing installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Seeking an energetic, self-driven professional that works well with others
• High School diploma preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in turf & grounds maintenance with proven success
• Good operating and mechanical knowledge of commercial mowers and turf maintenance equipment
• Basic Horticultural knowledge & experience
• Ability to communicate well in English and Spanish a plus
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and works well with others
• Current Drivers License with clean driving record
• CT Pesticide Applicators license a plus
• Snow plowing skills preferred

REQUIREMENTS: Previous landscaping experience a must. Ability to perform job & willingness to work outside in all weather conditions, team player interested in building a career to grow with our company.

CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – Scott's Nursery is looking for a part time to assist in the yard on the weekends. Ability to answer phones, handle money & work a simple computer are required. Plant & Gardening knowledge a plus.
